Elle se trouve dans le verger de la Villa Garbald, une imposante maison de campagne du XIXe si\u00e8cle con\u00e7ue par Gottfried Semper. Inspir\u00e9s par les tours lombardes de chasse aux oiseaux appel\u00e9es \"roccoli\", Quintus Miller et Paola Maranta ont con\u00e7u la tour Roccolo comme un compagnon contemporain du b\u00e2timent Semper, qu'ils avaient \u00e9galement r\u00e9nov\u00e9.
