Little Helsinki in Zurich: the organically curved Rämibühl auditorium proves that brutalism can also be delicate and poetic. Photographed by Karin Bürki, the print has a luxe pearl mat finish and is available in a signed and numbered edition of 5.

The auditorium forms part of the Kantonsschule Rämibühl cantonal school.  Set within a large park, its design is heavily inspired by Finnish modernism. The close-up emphasises the building’s distinct, sculptural presence. The low angle adds visual drama, while the duotone nude finish introduces a graphic edge, turning the auditorium into an abstract work of art.
