See you THERE?
60 years after its opening, the Regina department store is getting its own exhibition. What did this striking brutalist building mean to people? What visions were associated with it? And what does the Regina tell us today about the transformation of commerce, architecture and society? The exhibition explores consumerism, internationalism and social change – told through the stories and memories of former shop assistants and locals.
I have contributed a text on Brutalism and a Carte Brute Zurich map.
